Forgiveness…. Let It Flow
Personal Expressions.... Leave a comment below after you read!
I once knew a lady so absorbed with bitterness and un-forgiveness that she could not empathize with the love ones she hurt. Because she never dealt with her own emotions, stemming from life’s disappointments, she had problems identifying with those she hurt. She meant no harm but harm is what she passed along. Bitterness and anger were constant companions which escorted her as she communed with others. Only as she came to grips with her negative behavior was healing able to begin.
Realizing that this is the condition of many, immobilized by un-forgiveness, I encourage all to let it go. Forgive, so you can live in the now; do not let your past cloud your present, hindering you from seeing the rainbow and smelling the roses–from experiencing life’s joys and pains. For this is what un-forgiveness does. It freezes and deadens your emotions leaving you anesthetized to life’s joys and pains. On the opposite end, forgiveness broadens your capacity to express and receive love thereby enhancing your life. Because un-forgiveness builds a wall which forges barriers that keep its holder isolated and expressions of love thwarted, it stresses the mind and body so damaging one’s health. But forgiveness, on the other hand, penetrates this wall permitting emotional and physical well-being.
And, what sane person among us desires not for health, wholeness and true expressions of love to flow? I know not one.
Love & Peace*
